I’ve been on the hunt for all the kitchen inspiration lately as we prepare for our next remodel! I came across this beautiful kitchen in Southern Living and thought it deserved its own post. I love the classic design with cheerful accents (that fun valance and fabric speaks to me, it’s like a blast from the past! I really love that this look has returned!).
This white kitchen is well done. It’s so timeless and bright, but I love the contrast and warmth of the wood floors and darker metal lighting. I also love this dreamy window seat banquette…so inviting!
The lovely open shelving for cookbooks and crockery also makes me happy, it’s something I’m definitely planning to include in our new kitchen. We’ve installed open shelving in two of our last three out of three kitchens. Unfortunately, we didn’t have space or fit them in our last kitchen and I missed that look! It gives the room a lived-in, personal look and offers the opportunity to add personality, color and pattern.
Enjoy this kitchen tour, I hope it inspires you too!
