Decorating with Faux Flowers – The Inspired Room
WWe had a fun little family birthday party for my daughter Kylee’s birthday this weekend! Simple gatherings are my favorite (and not just because I wrote a book with that name!). I love to make any event at my home (even last minute events!) More special and memorable in a simple way.
I keep a few stems of faux flowers and foliage on hand for “between seasons” and occasions like this! Aren’t they fun for spring? Fake stems don’t take up much space to store, and it’s so nice that you don’t have to spend extra cash on decorating or running around town to get flowers on the spur of the moment. You can be spontaneous in inviting people, while still making the atmosphere so festive at all times!
We have so many flowers and trees in our house that we can cut in the spring, but at the moment we don’t have a lot of flowers yet, so I was happy to be able to put some festive arrangements with what we planes. You can also use the real and the fake together to maximize their impact! I had just made the tulip basket a few days before, so we had both at home.
There are some really beautiful fake flowers available online right now! I have the impression that they continue to make them more realistic and more beautiful! Real flowers are my favorite, but they can add up over time and don’t always last very long. Sometimes fake flowers can seem very expensive at the time, but I think they’re worth it. They are like a gift that never stops giving!
Can’t wait to order more, you can see some of the prettiest faux flowers below!
