Fall Nesting & Doormats – Home Decor Online Tips
Who wants to decorate their autumn porch? I know, I know, it’s still summer. But you need to order your fall doormat now or it’s hard to get them, so consider this your friendly PSA. Now, I love summer in the Northwest and don’t want it to end, but it’s wonderful that we can follow the summer with FALL – and my annual series FALL NESTING! 13 years of blogging and I’m still as excited about this series as I was the first time around.
In the days of blogging, I felt like the only blogger to be so in love with fall. Starting my fall series in September scared everyone, too soon, they said! Well, now they’re starting to talk about fall in early August. Ha!
Yet I’m still a fan of savoring the season you find yourself in and not rushing it. My philosophy has always been that I want to let the seasons change slowly at home, just like the seasons outside. There’s a giveaway in there, but we miss it if we run into it!
So while you will never see a frantic change of seasons overnight in my decor, you will feel the gradual unfolding of the seasons in my home. The slow, gentle vibrations of fall will begin to unfold, layer by layer, through the textures and natural elements of my home as well as the way I live my daily routines.
I am so excited to be spending another fall season with you my friends.
