About the collaboration

The Anthropologie aesthetic has always resonated with my personal style – I enjoy the bohemian, collected vibe and it’s something I’ve been etched into for years. It has always been nostalgic for me – my mom and I used to shop there when I was younger and I remember buying this gorgeous kantha blanket that my mom still has today. Collaborating with Anthropologie made me feel like coming home; that kind of pinch moment where I realized I could design a collection that really makes you feel something for the pieces you bring into your life – to create something for everyone.

Inspiration for the collection

The Amber Lewis for Anthropologie collection aimed to bring together my love for textiles, textures and layering. The inspiration for the collection came from within, it really is a manifestation of my own life. I have always enjoyed the laid-back life and strongly believe that things only get better with patina and age. Nothing about me is too precious. I have spent my whole life looking for inspiration, unearthing flea market treasures, researching vintage textiles with unique patterns, discovering the most beautiful colors of nature.

I have drawn inspiration from my personal experiences to create pieces that create an inspired and unique landscape within this unique collection – to evoke the feeling of a collected and thoughtful home that not only looks well balanced, but feels comfortable and inhabited. . These coins tell the story of my life, and I hope that over time they will tell your story too.

it’s all in the details

If you know me, you know I have a keen eye for detail, and I think it really shines throughout the collection. For me, no detail is too small and every element has been taken into account in the designs. From the color of the accented stitching on the Keane Slipcover sofa, to the open-grained oak wood of the Henderson coffee table and the leather pulls of the Ferndale woven pillow, every detail has been designed with the intention of making each room special. and unique.
