I struggled for a long time to properly light my woodworking garage. I added fluorescent and LED work lights in the areas where I work the most, but the overall brightness was still lacking. I came across some dimmable LED garage lights at my local home store and decided to get some on impulse. The light fits into a standard socket and can be positioned to illuminate the areas that need it most. I have replaced all the standard bulbs in my shop and now have a garage that is bright enough to make a surgeon jealous.
You can find dimmable LED garage lights at most home improvement stores and online.
