Made in California: A Curated Collection of Handmade Furniture from Honeyed Figs

We first met Tamar Barnoon, set designer and stylist, when she sent us photos of one of her interior projects, a 1920s Spanish-style house in the hills of Los Feliz for a creative couple (see Kitchen of the week: in Los Feliz, Une Moody, modern romantic Spanish update). Barnoon recently launched a line of furniture and home furnishings called Honeyed Figs, in collaboration with a select group of Los Angeles furniture artists and manufacturers. “I sell what I consider to be” basics “of furniture that looks like a little black dress or a good suit in a wardrobe,” says Tamar. “All of the furniture is made in Los Angeles by people I have worked with in my design practice. The pieces are handmade and made to order, so they can be customized to fit perfectly.”

Here is an overview.
