Self-preserving glue kit
Paste a project it can get ugly fast if you don’t have all your supplies on hand. I put together a kit that contains everything I need: a small white nylon brush to spread the glue, a spatula, a wooden wedge and a cotton rag to remove the glue and a gallon jug for water. A plastic or paper cup screwed to a small block of wood acts as a container for the glue to dip the brush into. I stack more cups inside the screwed cup and throw them away after each use.
The gallon jug has a large cutout, so it’s easy to dip the rag or toss it into the brush, wedge, or spatula before the glue on them hardens. When I’m done, I pour the water from the jug and put all the supplies back inside. –Tom Caspar
