Shop-made Jig for Trimming Laminate

WWhen applying laminate to a narrow edge, it’s a little tricky not to tilt the router and not cut the edge. The surface on which the router must be balanced is often not large enough to provide adequate support.

I made this device from two pieces of plywood padded and screwed together for strength. It makes the job of holding the router at the correct angle to cut the laminate much easier and cancels the normal balancing act. –Dan Martin
