WWe don’t usually decorate specifically for Halloween at home, but since we’re new to the neighborhood, we thought it would be fun to add a banner so kids and parents know they’re welcome to take a treat on our porch!
I really like the idea of using banners to decorate the seasons.
They’re great in small spaces not only because they don’t take up a lot of space on your porch, wall, or fireplace mantel, but also because they don’t take up a lot of storage space! They are so easy to fold up and store until next year.

I got this cute “Trick or Treat” banner from Amazon HERE.

I also like to use containers like baskets for seasonal decoration.
They can be used in your decor all year round, saving money and space over specific seasonal decorations. Simply personalize the container each season with foliage or other decorations. So charming and welcoming!
I have this lovely door basket HERE.
Are the kids going for tricks or treats in your neighborhood? I don’t know if they’ll be in ours but if not, I’ll take advantage of my stash of Reese’s peanuts bwhole cups. ??
